Common questions

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. You sign right inside your browser, so your PDF and your signature never leave your device.

Is this a legally valid electronic signature?

In many countries, including the US under the ESIGN Act and the EU under eIDAS, a simple electronic signature like this one is accepted for most everyday agreements. Some documents, like certain government, real estate or court papers, need a certified digital signature or ink on paper. If in doubt, ask whoever sent you the document.

Can I sign on my phone?

Yes. Sign with your finger in the signature box, then tap where it goes on the page. Pinch to zoom in on small signature lines.

How do I use a photo of my signature?

Sign on plain white paper, take a well-lit photo, and choose Upload. The white of the paper is taken out so only your ink goes on the page.

Can I sign in more than one place?

Yes. Click Signature again and place it once more. Your signature stays in the box, so you only make it once.

Will forms and links still work?

Yes. Everything already in the PDF is kept. Your signature is added on top.
