Common questions
Will my PDF look like the Word document?
Very close. Layout, images, tables, headers and footers carry over. Common Office fonts like Calibri, Cambria, Arial and Times New Roman are matched with look-alike fonts, so text lines up the same way. A rare font may be swapped for a similar one.
Can I convert many documents at once?
Yes. Add up to 300 documents, up to 1 GB in total. Big batches are sent in rounds, so keep the page open until it's done. You get one zip with every PDF.
How do I combine several documents into one PDF?
Use Create PDF instead. It turns Word files, photos, slides and other files into a single PDF in the order you choose.
Can it convert password-protected documents?
No. Open the document in Word, remove the password (File, Info, Protect Document), save, and convert that copy. Filekin tells you which documents are protected.
What happens to comments and tracked changes?
The PDF shows the document as it currently looks, the same way it would print. To leave out comments or tracked changes, accept or remove them in Word first.
Is there a size limit?
Each document can be up to 90 MB.
