More about BR-DE-9
XRechnung requires the buyer's post code. Many public bodies have a separate post code for their invoice address, sometimes a PO box code, so use the one from their invoicing instructions rather than the visitor address on their website.
Write the code without a country prefix. For buyers in countries without post codes, this rule can't be satisfied with an empty value, so check with the buyer what they expect.
The fields involved
- BT-53 Buyer post code
- CII
ram:BuyerTradeParty/ram:PostalTradeAddress/ ram:PostcodeCode - UBL
cac:AccountingCustomerParty/cac:Party/ cac:PostalAddress/ cbc:PostalZone
Typical situations
- The post code was typed into the city field.
- The customer record came from a list that had no post code column.
Example
The buyer's post code in CII:
<ram:PostalTradeAddress>
<ram:PostcodeCode>80331</ram:PostcodeCode>
...
</ram:PostalTradeAddress>
