BR-DE-2 XRechnung: seller contact missing

XRechnung requires a seller contact (a person or department).

German public bodies want a person or department they can contact when something about an invoice is unclear, so XRechnung makes the seller contact group mandatory. BR-DE-2 means the whole group is missing. Once you add it, three more rules check what's inside: a name (BR-DE-5), a phone number (BR-DE-6) and an email address (BR-DE-7).

The contact doesn't have to be a named person. A department such as "Accounts" or "Buchhaltung" is accepted, which is useful if you don't want an individual's name in the customer's records.

Typical situations

The company profile has no contact section, or it was never filled in.
The invoice was converted from a format that doesn't require a contact.
Contact details are only on the PDF letterhead.
