More about BR-DE-8
XRechnung requires the city in the buyer's address, which the European standard leaves optional. For public bodies, use the city of the office in the order or in their invoicing instructions, which isn't always the city of their headquarters.
As with all address fields, write the city name on its own. The post code goes in its own field, which XRechnung also requires (BR-DE-9).
The fields involved
- BT-52 Buyer city
- CII
ram:BuyerTradeParty/ram:PostalTradeAddress/ ram:CityName - UBL
cac:AccountingCustomerParty/cac:Party/ cac:PostalAddress/ cbc:CityName
Typical situations
- The customer's address was entered in a single line.
- The customer was created from an email signature with only a street.
